Sue Leschen LLB BA MITI DPSI is a full-time freelance legal and commercial French interpreter and translator based in Manchester, UK. She is also qualified as a solicitor, though is not currently practising.
From time to time she presents interactive CPD legal terminology and other professional interest workshops for colleagues the UK and elsewhere in Europe – TEPIS (Poland); Budapest BP14; Cardiff University Disability in Translation Conference; IAPTI (Athens) Conferences in 2014 and Association of Police and Court Interpreters (APCI) Conference and ITI Conference and Portsmouth University Crime in Translation Conference in 2013.
She is a member of the Professional Conduct Committees of ITI and the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI) as well as of APCI’s Management Committee.
