Ros Schwartz has translated over 60 fiction works from French, including a new translation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince.
She runs a small translation company specialising in marketing and corporate communications, the visual arts and the hospitality industry, giving her a firm grasp of the commercial translation world too.
She regularly publishes articles and gives workshops around the world. Co-organiser of a 2014 translation summer school in association with City University, London, she undertakes numerous translator training and mentoring activities.
In 2009 she was made Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for her services to literature.
