Emma Paulay grew up in Surrey and studied international marketing and French at the University of Greenwich and Brest business school. Following a 14-year career in newspaper circulation in Paris, Emma became a freelance translator in 2007. In 2010 she was awarded an MA Translation with distinction from the University of the West of England. She specialises in texts for publication in the fields of communication, tourism and architecture.

Emma lives in Le Mans where she is a member of the business club and coworking community and is a representative of the Société française de traducteurs’ Grand Ouest regional group.
