Terence Lewis MITI was a member of a religious order and found a calling for translation while still in the cloisters. Since then he has been involved in the translation industry for over 40 years as a translator and lexicographer and over the past 15 years as a developer of machine translation tools. His Dutch-English machine translation application was used to translate much of the documentation for the HSL-Zuid – the largest infrastructure project in modern Dutch history.
He is the author of many articles on translation technology and has spoken at international conferences and workshops.
