I studied French and German at the University of Bristol, then translation at PCL on the technical and specialised translation course. I worked briefly inhouse in Denmark and have been a freelancer in London since 20 January 1992.
I translate from Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, German and French into UK English. I’ve been state-authorised in Sweden since 2010 and wield the stamp regularly on all manner of documents.
I live in Streatham Hill, South London, a multi-ethnic melting pot like most of this great city.
When not working I seem to spend most of my time watching my two sons play football.
Despite being a member of ITI for nearly half my life, this will be my first conference and I look forward to meeting colleagues and learning a thing or two.
