Venue Details – One Birdcage Walk
As has been previously announced, The ITI International Conference 2009 will be held at the home of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in Central London, One Birdcage Walk. The venue was chosen for its proximity to many Central London attractions and facilities, its flexibility as a conference location, and, of course, its fabulous style.
Situated adjacent to Horseguards and overlooking St James's Park, One Birdcage Walk comprises 17 rooms providing conference accommodation for groups of all sizes. Furthermore, ITI has secured exclusive use of the entire building for both days of the conference, allowing us to accommodate just about every possible need and desire in our programme.
The venue is extremely easy to reach using London's public transport systems, just 5 minutes walk from both Westminsterand St James's Park underground stations. London buses also serve nearby roads, such as Parliament Square, which is just a short walk away, at the other end of Great George Street. Visit Google Maps for an overview of the local area.
