Liz Robertson

Elizabeth Robertson established Robertson Languages International in 1989 having been involved in both translation and language training since graduating from London University.  As Director in charge of Translation, she has seen the company grow both organically and through acquisition and has ensured that quality processes and procedures have developed to match changing client requirements while remaining in line with ISO 9001.  She represented the UK Association of Translation Companies (ATC) at the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies (EUATC) for 8 years before holding the Presidency of the EUATC 2006-2008 and during this time was closely involved in the development of BS EN 15038.  As current Chairman of the ATC she is involved in activities to raise client awareness of the key role of the translation industry in international trade as well as promoting the highest standards of translation service and professional development. She has been involved in assisting programmes of translator training and CPD in various organisations and was very proud to be awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the ITI in 2007
