Paul Appleyard

Paul Appleyard studied translation over 20 years ago and has worked in the field ever since.  He managed the translation and localisation process for a number of software companies before taking advantage of a redundancy package to return to the translation coal face at the beginning of the current decade.  Paul translates into English, mainly in the technical and ‘business’ fields.  With Patricia Sommer, who translates from English into French, he is a director of Manzana Business Solutions Ltd, a translation company which specialises in work between English and French.

When not translating, Paul is a keen gardener and has a strong interest in music and photography.  He is also a passionate believer in education and plays an active part in his local school community as chair of governors at a highly successful school in Surrey.
